Building Bridges. Between people. Between worlds.
Labor Day Weekend ~ September 3-5, 2016 ~ San Rafael, CA

Dear friends of the Conference:

We invite you to attend the 2016 Conference on Shamanism, Healing and Transformation, the 32nd year of the conference. Our focus this year is "Building Bridges," designed to connect us with original ways of knowing. We will build the bridge between cultures in order to deepen our understanding of who we are and what we can be as a community.

  • From technology to inspirited nature.
  • From dreams to everyday reality.
  • From curing to healing.
  • From an obsession with progress to creating balance in the world.
  • From modern medicine to shamanic healing.

The presenters include; artists, scientists, ecologists, educators, therapists, healers, and indigenous shamans. See Presenter Highlights page for more details. This conference is dedicated to building and exploring these and other bridges to heal the cultural traumas of our world and open possibilities for new ways of thinking and being.

Building Bridges

As once the winged energy
of delight
Carried you over childhoods dark abysses,
now beyond your own life
build the great arch of unimagined bridges.
Rainer Maria Rilke
