Jana Din’s preparation as a shamanic healer included a six year apprenticeship with a North American shaman, studies with Native American, and Tibetan shamans, and extensive training and initiations in Nepal with shaman, Aama Bombo, one of the International Council of 13 Grandmothers. In 2003, Jana co-founded the Tao Center for Healing, where she twice hosted Aama, and conducts her shamanic healing practice. Jana is a 30+ year high school teacher, providing shamanic healing services for district staff and students. She has been interviewed on T.V. and radio, and speaking at conferences and workshops about shamanism as an adjunct support to palliative and hospice care.
