Natem Anank was raised deep in the Ecuadorian Amazon in the traditional “Shuar of the SacredWaterfall” way. He is a Shuar Uwishin (traditional healer) guided by the Great Spirit Arutam and thewisdom of his ancestors. He will share with us his wisdom of what is most important at this time onEarth. Natem will also conduct a medicine ceremony on the weekend following the conference.

Jianshe Liu is from Wenchang City, Hainam Province, in China. He has worked as a healer at the Medicineless Hospital in China for 10 years. He now has a Qigong Center on Hainan Island. He is a master of Zhineng Qigong who will share how Qigong gave him a new his life, and how it can help people to heal and experience inner happiness. He will speak on Qigong Healing and address these questions: What is chi? How does chi healing work? Does it work for everyone? How can someone prepare themselves to receive the maximum possible healing? At the end of his presentation he will give a group healing to demonstrate the heart of healing energy.

Chris Schnabel, M.A.: My love of storytelling first led me to earn my undergraduate degree in English with a concentration in Fiction Writing at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Through a psychological exploration of the mythologigical motif of the Nekyia, I earned a Master’s Degree in Depth Psychology from Sonoma State University. While enrolled I created and taught the class Myth, Archetype, and Narrative as a Student Teacher. Her insight into what exists outside of consensus reality makes her teaching and leadership pertinent and valuable in a world emphasizing the material. Sita conducts healing journeys around the world, bridging the divide between western and indigenous teachings. Her commitment to deep ecology has birthed, “Fundo Sitaramaya,” -a preservation on Amazonian land that protects the rainforest flora and fauna.

Title: “Transliminality in Shamans, Artists, and Audiences”
Denita Benyshek, PhD. MFA, is a multidisciplinary artist, a mental health counselor, and a cross-disciplinary scholar on contemporary artists as shamans. She earned her PhD and MA in psychology from Saybrook University and an MFA in painting from the University of Washington. Her artworkwas exhibited in over 60 national and international group exhibits, including Redefining Visionary Artin New York City. Her research will be published in the forthcoming edition of ReVision: A Journal of Consciousness and Transformation, a Polish/Hungarian anthology on shamanism and the arts, and the Chinese Encyclopedia of Shamanism.
