Sacheen Littlefeather

Sacheen Littlefeather is a Native American Indian Elder (Apache/Yaqui, AZ), born and raised in the Bay Area, child of a Caucasian mother and a Native American father.

I have metastasized lung cancer and I am going through a transformation dealing with my journey here on Earth and my proposed life in the next world.

I have worked with Native American tribes across the U.S. teaching Traditional Health and Nutrition, and I am founding board member of the S.F. American Indian AIDS Institute in the 1980’s. I worked with and was taught by Mother Teresa herself, in her S.F. AIDS Hospice. I am one of the original teachers of the Traditional Indian Medicine Program at St Mary’s Hospital in Tucson, AZ.
